My name is Sally Jo Witty. I am 32 years old. I was married to my husband, Darren, on September 3, 2004.
My precious baby daughter, Natalie Ann was born on June 6, 2005. This picture was taken the first time I held her.
I grew up in Friendsville and live in Maryville. Along with my husband and daughter, I have a dog, two cats, and a bird.
I love to sing, read, and be outdoors.
I have been teaching for seven years. I was an intern at Alcoa Middle School. My first year
teaching was spent at Heritage Middle. I moved to Eagleton in 2001 and taught 7th and 8th grade Language Arts.
For the years after that, until this year, I taught science and reading. This year I only teach reading. I love
teaching, but I hope one day to return to school and receive my EdS and become a school counselor. I am happy
to have, as a permanent teaching assistant, my pet bird, Rocky. He has been with me in the classroom since my days at
Heritage Middle.
