This 9 weeks in science we are studying Biomes and Ecosystems.  We are also studying Heredity and Reproduction.  Homework is taken up on the day of the quiz the homework has covered.  Each Chapter is ended with a Unit Test over the material.  Any work not turned in on the day it was due can be turned in the next day for a late grade of 50.  Make sure to keep up with your notebook for extra credit.  Also, don't forget you can correct any test or quiz that you fail by the day after it is returned to you for a higher grade.  Please remember to ALWAYS check the black notebook when you are absent for make-up work.  You are responsible for this.  I hope you are enjoying your first 9 weeks in science.

We are coming to the end of the first 9 weeks.  It has been a busy one.  Just a reminder:  all make-up work and extra credit projects must be completed and turned in by Wednesday, October 5.  For students who are currently in science class, extra credit notebooks will be taken up during the week of October 3-7.  We will begin working on science fair projects during the second 9 weeks.  Please begin thinking about what you would like to do.  Projects are madatory and if you choose not to do one you will fail both the second and third 9 weeks.  Hope you all have a wonderful fall break.

This week we are working from Ch. 1:1 & 1:2.  We are also beginning our "pet" project lab and completing a "Take a class survey" lab.
