Hi, I am Ms. Krebel. I live in Waterloo, Illinois and am engaged to my long time boyfriend Willie. I
have one pet, a 9 year old maltese named Penny.
I grew up and went to high school in Red Bud. After high school I first attended BAC (SWIC), then transferred to
Eastern Illinois University and continued at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville where I obtained Bachelor of Science
degrees in Environmental Biology and Chemistry.
I worked for eight years at three different environmental consulting firms in the St. Louis area. I conducted environmental
sampling, environmental site assessments, and worked closely with both the States of Illinois and Missouri in environmental
cleanup projects.
In 2005 I went back to school at McKendree College and obtained my Masters in Secondary Education.
My hobbies include gardening and landscaping, reading, and listening to music. Some of my favorite authors include S.E.
Hinton, Nicholas Evans, and Nora Roberts. Some of my favorite bands or musicians include ELVIS, Bon Jovi, and Rascal
Flatts.
I enjoy all things science and thrive on learning new things. I also love passing on my knowledge of new things to others.
This is my third year teaching at MJSHS and I thoroughly enjoy being here.
