Special Olympics Rollerskating competition will take place
on Wednesday, November 5th at the Smokey Mountain Skate Center on East Broadway Avenue. The event will begin around
9:30 and will be over by noon. All parents are welcome and encouraged to come and cheer on our athletes. Our next
Special Olympics event will be basketball. Practices will begin as soon as rollerskating is over!

Our class is currently working on Science Projects. They will
be due the Monday before Christmas Break. Students are expected to do some of the work at home, but may also get some
help in the classroom. Parents, feel free to encourage and advise your son/daughter on how to do their project, but
LET THEM DO THE WORK!
Right now we are working on raising the funds we need
to go stay at Tremont for two nights in February. We will be sponsoring a dance, having bake sales, and asking community
businesses to sponsor a student to attend the trip. Families of students in the class are asked to send in $10 per week
until all funds are raised.
