Once you
feel you have collected all of the information you will need, you should begin to draft your diary entries. You will write at least 5 diary entries of about 8-10 sentences each, and you must include at least 8 total
facts from your research with proper MLA in-text citation. Remember to put quotation
marks around information that you quote directly from your notes, or paraphrase closely.
In addition, remember that your diary should be written in the first person point-of-view of the role you were assigned,
so think about how your character would view the Elizabethan world. Consider
how they might feel about their occupation, the monarchy, the status of actors, the status of women, etc.
Your diary will
also include a “Works Cited” page that lists all of your sources in MLA format.
