October is drawing to a close.
6th grade has been learning about color as an Element
of Art. They have learned about warm and cool colors, how colors are created, and even mixed paint by using watercolor.
7th grade began the month by creating a bird tessellation, and
practiced perspective with a project called "A Few of My Favorite Things".
8th grade created a perspective picture using the word
Autumn.
All the grades worked on festive holiday decore.
8th grade made Fall Festival signs for Crestview as well as signs and decorations for the Texas Red Ribbon Week. They
also created positive/negative and 3D pumpkins. 7th grade created pumpkin spinners to hang in the room. 6th grade
created 3D haunted houses and pumpkin pals.
Each grade finished out the month doing grid drawings of Snoopy.
This is an exciting time of the year. Lots to do!!!!
