October is drawing to a close.
6th grade has been learning about color as an Element of Art.  They have learned about warm and cool colors, how colors are created, and even mixed paint by using watercolor.
7th grade began the month by creating a bird tessellation, and practiced perspective with a project called "A Few of My Favorite Things".
8th grade created a perspective picture using the word Autumn.

All the grades worked on festive holiday decore.  8th grade made Fall Festival signs for Crestview as well as signs and decorations for the Texas Red Ribbon Week.  They also created positive/negative and 3D pumpkins.  7th grade created pumpkin spinners to hang in the room.  6th grade created 3D haunted houses and pumpkin pals.
Each grade finished out the month doing grid drawings of Snoopy.
This is an exciting time of the year.  Lots to do!!!!
