~We have discussed what inspired the first colonists to come to this great new land.
~We are now finishing up the exploration of Lewis & Clark.
~We will begin getting ready to explore what prompted even more growth in America. The countries people came from and
why they made the voyage.
State Standards that will be addressed:
- 16.C.3a "I can list the economic motivators that attracted Europeans and others
to the Americas from the early 1500's -1750."
- 16.D.3b "I can describe characteristics of different families in America during
the colonial/frontier periods and the 19th century."
