Mrs. McGarvey's Class

We will begin the month of April by learning about the symbols of Easter. Students will be attending the Holy Thursday Prayer service on April 9. This will take place at 9:00 in the gym. This prayer service will be the Stations of the Cross. If you have the opportunity to join us, please do. There will be no school on Friday, April 10 in observance of Good Friday. Kindergarten Round-up at Sacred Heart will take place on Wednesday, April 8. Students will spend the morning with Mrs. Frost in the kindergarten classroom. Those students not attending kindergarten at Sacred Heart will spend the moring with Mrs. Simon. Prek and Kindergarten students will be walking to Washington Park for an egg hunt on Wednesday, April 15. This is a fun way for us to culminate our Easter activities. Look for a permission slip to be coming home soon. We also may be looking for some volunteers to help us on that day. If you are interested please let me know. Coming up in the month of May, we'll be taking another field trip to the Youth Pavillion. We will be needing some volunteers to help us out. This will be on Wednesday, May 13. We will be gone for the entire morning, and may arrive back at the school a few minutes after our normal dismissal time. Look for more information to be coming home soon.
