Thank You to all parents that came to conferences! It was so nice to see all of you. Taking part in your child's growth and learning is a privilege that I do not take lightly. Thank you for the opportunity to help. I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Spring Break! Hopefully our temperatures will warm soon and we can feel like it is Spring. Our class will be going to see Stellaluna at the Gallagher-Bluedorn on Tuesday, March 24th. We are looking forward to our field trip. Please join us for our Unit A prayer service on Wednesday, March 25 at 9:00 in the gym. On that same day, we will be dismissed at 1:00 for a teacher inservice afternoon. There will be no bus service for students returning home. Friday, March 27th is Community Day. Students may wear any Sacred Heart or Columbus sweatshirt or t-shirt with their uniform pants. We also have an awards ceremony at 3:00 in the gym. If your child is to receive an award, you will be contacted so you may have the opportunity to see them receive it. Our class will be working with clay, thanks to the help of Mr. Skieres and his students from Columbus. They will visit Sacred Heart and help us build with clay. Our works will be fired at Columbus. We will then take a trip to Columbus to glaze our works. We will have another early dismissal on Wednesday, April 1st at 1:00. School will be dismissed early on Thursday, April 9th at 11:45. On Thursday, April 9th all 1st communion students will have a "bread party" after the 5:30 Holy Thursday Mass.Please bring a bread to share. Please join us as we celebrate Easter with an all school Easter Mass on Thursday, April 16. We will have a classroom party on that day also, at 2:30.That evening will be 1st Communion practice and pictures at 6:00. 1st Communion will be held at the 10:45 Mass on Sunday, April 19th. This is the special day that we have all been waiting for!
