We are reading a piece this week about a trip to nowhere. Have you and your family picked a summer vacation destination? If
not the students have lots of great ideas about where to go. We will be using all of the skills we have learned this year
with the next two stories.
In social studies we are going to learn about the Civil War with some readings and videos. It is a very interesting time of
America's history.
We will also finish up in science by learning about the different forms of matter. The kids will get an opportunity to make
Oobleck!
Again we are all over the place in math! Thanks to everyone who has made sure that their child has been practicing the MMF
at night! Check out your child's computation scores!!
In religion we have been discussing why there is evil in the world and we will be writing prayers to help us through difficult
times.
