I have always loved science. It started when I was a little kid, and I would bring home any animal or plant I could
find. My mom usually made me put them back, but we had fish, lizards, cats, hamsters, gerbils, and hermit crabs, but
not all at the same time!
I also love astronomy and space science. In January 2008, I was named a Solar System Ambassador by the Jet Propulsion
Lab. This means I'll be getting some training to present the most recent information from JPL missions, like Cassini-Huygens
and the Mars Exploration Rovers.
My husband is also a teacher, but he teaches language arts at a high school
in Minneapolis. He hates snakes, so it's probably a good thing he doesn't teach science. My daughter is in Kindergarten
this year. We're thinking about getting a dog, so if you have any suggestions, let me know!
