Greetings from the Estes Park Middle School 8th grade science classroom.
As the 2006-2007 school year gets underway, I would like to tell you about myself and my expectations. My philosophy of teaching is that EVERY student can learn and will be successful. I take the development of science knowledge very seriously, and I will strive for excellence in the classroom. I also think learning can and should be a lot of fun.
Science education holds many implications for the future, and it is important that the students gain an understanding of what science is and what impact it has made on our
society. I will do my best to create
a comfortable and stimulating environment in which the students can become cognitively engaged. I do my best to differentiate instruction to target the needs of
every learner. I set high expectations
for myself and for my students.
