3rd Grade Reading Volunteer Program
All third graders have the opportunity to visit my classroom once a week. During this time, each student reads with
an adult volunteer. Students read an independent reading book. After reading, students respond in their journal.
It is important for students to choose "just right" books for independent reading. Visiting my classroom and reading with
an helper guides them in making great book choice.
