I am excited to have the opportunity to teach children at St. Mary Campus. Most of my educational life has been involved
with Catholic Education, which includes 12 years as a student and 18 years teaching. I began my teaching career at St. Joseph
School, teaching 5th grade. Throughout the years, I taught 5th or 6th grade. The year my youngest son was born, I took a
year leave of absence. During this year, I home tutored and substituted in area schools. I continued teaching 5th grade for
2 more years. Realizing that a family of 3 keeps you very busy and wanting more time devoted to my family, I accepted a part-time tutoring
position at St. Joseph School. During the past 4 years, I have implemented the volunteer reading program for 2nd, 3rd, and
4th graders, coordinated the Accelerated Reader Program, and tutored students in grades K-3. This year I will be teaching
2nd grade Language Arts, coordinating volunteers for grade 3, and tutoring students in K, 1, and 2,
