Hello, my name is Rose Gaietto.  I have been the Director of Religious Education for St. Mary's Parish, Tiffin, Ohio for 21 years.  In addition to this ministry, I am also the Religious Identity Coordinator for Calvert Catholic Schools.  Being a religious identity coordinator is a new venture for me.  I am quite excited about all the possibilities and responsibilities that come with this position.

 

I am originally from Columbus Grove, Ohio.  I received an elementary Catholic Education at St. Anthony School in Columbus Grove.  After graduating from Bath High School in Lima, I pursued a college career and graduated with an elementary education degree from Bluffton University, Bluffton, Ohio.  After teaching a few years at St. Anthony Catholic School in Columbus Grove, I decided to pursue a Masters Degree in Religious Education.  This goal was achieved in 1988 when I graduated from Seattle University in Seattle, Washington.  Since receiving this degree, I have attended numerous workshops and institutes to continually update myself regarding the teachings of the Catholic Church.

 

I have been married for 19 years to my husband Richard.  Our two daughters, Kristina and Andrea, attend Calvert High School.  Richard and I feel blessed to be able to offer, with the support of the Tiffin Community, our two daughters a Catholic education.  We know that this a gift that will last a lifetime.

 

I always enjoy working with the Tiffin community in the area of religious education.  We have a lot to offer our young people.  It is with your continued support, dedication and prayers that we can make this happen.
