I teach 8th grade math at Glenview Middle school in East Moline Illinois. I graduated from Western
Illinois University in 1999 and have been teaching at Glenview ever since. I just completed my masters degree
in Educational Leadership and I plan to become a principal in the near future.
I created this site during a training for an Enhancing Education Through Technology grant that our
school received. I am the lead teacher for a group of 18 math, language arts, technology, and special ed teachers.
I have been married for 5 years and I have a son (Aiden) that will turn one in September. I also have
a dog named Moose, he is a 100 lb. yellow lab that will eat anything! When we first got him he ate our couch, that's
right a couch!
My interests are coaching (basketball) and playing most sports on my time off. I also have an interest
in learning about the Japanese culture and have taken 7 years (while in high school and college) of the language. During
my senior year in high school I had the opportunity to visit Japan for a few weeks and have been hooked ever since.
I am a huge sports fan. I love to watch most professional and college sports when I have the chance.
The teams I follow are the Bears, the Cubs, the Illini, Notre Dame (football), and Tiger Woods is just a great golfer to watch!
I hope you enjoy my site!
