Welcome to Regents Biology or The Living Environment. I received my undergrad
from Siena College and my Masters from Russell Sage. We will be using different learning techniques in class. For example
notes, labs, webquests, games,power point presentations, poster presentations, debates, and singing. Yes, singing. If you
are willing to learn and have an open mind, you will be fine.
These are topics we will be going over: Scientific method, Cells,
Biochemistry, Human Body, Genetics, Evolution, Ecology, Classification, Photosynthesis, and Cellular Respiration.

There will be a mid-term at the end of 2nd quarter. It will count as 15% of your
2nd quarter grade. The Regents exam in June will count as 1/5 of your overall grade.
