Welcome to to the wonderful world of mathematics! I hope you find this to be an interesting and challenging class. I
started teaching math here at Glenview back in 1977, so you do the math on that one. I have been married for over 30
years and have two grown children.
As you may notice from this web site, I love cats. We currently only have one cat by the name of Mia. My daughter
brought Mia home one day from a shelter, and she has been with us ever since. You will find a picture of her in the back of
the classroom. I love to see pictures of kid's pets, so if you have some bring them in.
It would not be an understatement to say that I love math. I find it the most fascinating subject in the world (science
is ok too). While you may not enjoy math quite as much as I do, I hope by the end of year you develope a better understanding
an appreciation for the subject.
