Why?
In its ongoing efforts to provide a quality education for all of the students and families we serve, the Special Education
division of the CSIU has convened a software research and review committee in an attempt to get the best educational software
into the hands of our staff and students.
How?
The committee will have an on-going task of researching available software, managing its evaluation and recommendations to
staff. It will then create a sharing and knowledge-based environment for staff to utilize (this website being one
such endeavor). It will also create a software acquisition process for all CSIU staff.
When?
Since its inception the committee has been meeting on a regular basis approximately once every 6
weeks.
