Our cocker-spaniel, Spots, will be 13 on October 13th.  This year it is his GOLDEN BIRTHDAY, because he is turning 13 on the 13th.  Admiral III is one and a half now and continues to drive everyone in the family crazy.   Admiral is a German shepherd and is full grown; this means that he is huge!!!!  He still thinks he is a lap-dog.  Lily still dislikes him after more than a year and will avoid him at all costs.  She sits in the magnolia tree staring down at him, while he circles the tree trying to figure out how to get up there to her.  Nick, our yellow cat, still tolerates Admiral.  He doesn't run from Admiral, so Admiral doesn't like to chase him.
