Hello, my name is Michael Villanueva. I am the 6th grade Math teacher at Lincoln Elementary School, here in Calumet City.
This will be my 9th year teaching, and second here at Lincoln. Previously, I have taught 8th grade Math, 6th grade
Math & Science, 4th grade and 5th grade. I worked in the Gary Community School Corporation in Gary, IN for 5 years,
and also spent one year at Wentworth Junior High. I really like teaching here at Lincoln, and enjoy all my students
and the staff here as well. I have FAITH that all students will work hard and continue
to progress to the best of their abilities. I enjoy watching my students grow, not only as students, but as individuals.
I truly DO BELIEVE in OUR future!!

I am looking forward to a great school year!!
Here at school, I enjoy teaching chess, and coaching track, in addition to my regular 6th grade math classes. Last
year, for the first time, I also taught Math for the 7th & 8th grades in the Saturday School Program.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family & friends, work out, play and watch sports, read and listen to music.
