WebQuests

Horizontal Divider 1

WebQuests are classroom assignments or projects designed by educators that utilize Internet resources. WebQuests are a unique way to integrate the Web for K-12 educators. Student-centered and inquiry-based, a WebQuest challenges students to explore the web for information.

Most WebQuests include the links that are appropriate for students to research. Traditionally WebQuests have an introduction, a process, a task, a list of resources, a conclusion, and an evaluation. We have developed a template to assist teachers as they create WebQuests (see "Developing WebQuests" Template).

Visit The WebQuest Page for a detailed look at developing class lessons utilizing the Internet or Webquest Class Page for useful links for viewing other's webquests and ideas for webquests. Here is a handy online tool (WebQuest Generator) for creating your own webquest.
