CFL's need to be disposed of properly
CFL's contain trace amounts of mercury (less than in a metal tooth filling).
While this mercury poses no hazards to the user, CFL's should be disposed of properly. Landfills on the
Kenai Peninsula have special receptacles for CFL's.
