IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR MAY!!

Important dates to remember!

** ***Our new date for the Kindergartem Program will be on Thursday,     May 29th at 7:00.  More details will be sent home as the time gets closer.

***Thursday, May 15th and Monday, May 19th, the p.m. session will be joining the morning, 8:00 to 11:00. 

***Tuesday, May 20th, both a.m. and p.m. session will attend all day.  We will have a field day at T.U. with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders.  The 8th grade students will also be there to help. 

**Friday, May 30th - Both a.m. and p.m. classes will be in session all day, 8:00 to 3:00.  We will be having a picnic!  Further information will be coming home!

 What's happening the week of  May 5th?

 

 

This week we will work on the beginning sounds "th" and "sh."

 

       

The class will finish up the Fairy Tales.  We will work on identifying the characters, setting, problem and solution of each story.

 

Science -  We will continue our lesson on plants and the colors that nature brings.  Each student will plant their own bean to see if it grows!! 

 

Math -  Continue to work on numbers 20-30.  We will write the numbers and count objects.  We will also continue to review other areas in math the rest of the year such as identifying and counting coins and telling time. 

 

 

 

Religion -  We will continue talking about Mary and have our own May crowning for her in our classroom.  We will also read a story about the Good Shepherd.
