Today we kicked off the review of the final exam with a pre-final quiz in Geometry B and activities
designed by your fellow classmates in Geometry A. The format and types of questions on the Pre-Final Quiz/Exams are similar
to what you will see on the actual final. Next week, we will be doing various in-class activities/games and working on the
review packet. As we go through the material, note what you are struggling with and make sure to ask for help.
The final countdown has begun. Next week is our last regular week of the semester
with finals the following week. As we prepare to end the semester, there are several dates and things to keep in mind.
· Missing
Work: After Tuesday,
missing work will not be accepted unless you serve an after-school detention. No exceptions.
· Missing
Quizzes/Exam:
If you missed any quizzes/exams throughout the quarter, then you must make them up by Tuesday.
· Missing
Portfolio Check:
If you missed a portfolio check (we’ve had 3 this quarter), then be sure to turn yours in on Wednesday. If you’ve
never turned one in, now’s the time to do it.
· Final Review
Packet: The final
review packet will be due on Thursday. It will count as an exam grade. Make sure to bring it to class every day next week.
You will have daily quizzes off of it.
· Book: You may start turning in
your books any day next week. Keep in mind, they must be turned in by the day of your final exam.
· End of Semester
Extra Credit:
The end-of-semester extra credit assignment is due by Thursday. If you plan on doing it, make sure to complete it by then.
