Here's your chance to publish your writing.....

This space it provided for the students to post the writing that they want to share with others as well as they class.
I will post some of my own writing so that you will get an idea of what types of things can be posted, from poetry to stories.

Grandpa Kalman

My grandfather was the person that I remember the most in my childhood.  He had the greatest impact on my life.  He taught me to value life and family.  All things provided an opportunity to learn, from the times we spent in the garden to walks we took around town.

Grandpa also instilled in my a love of history.  He shared with me what life was like during the despression, as well as stories of his parents coming from Hungary to Pennsylvania.  He taught me to appreciate music, as he could play any song he heard on the radio, on his antique accordion.

It seems that no question or response was sill to him, he always had time to listen.  He only had an eighth grade education, but he was the smartest man I knew.

When he passed away I felt like part of my life died with him.  I was lost for months after his death, I missed him terribly.  He died of bone cancer and I was so mad at God for making him suffer that horrible of a death, I really wanted to know how God could do this to this sweet and caring man?

Reading

I always like reading best,

A time to learn, a time to share

What a great way to discover what it means to be me.

Passing books at school.

Finding friends who share similar likes.

Reading is a time to unwind,

A time to relax and a time to grow.
