Welcome to my class!

Welcome to room 115, I hope that all of you are ready for a very exciting year of learning. It is my plan to incorporate more individual reading and writing this year. Also with this web page being available I hope that all of you will get a chance to post your writing.

Events and Announcements

We will begin writing and reading on the first day of class. Everyone will be given a writers notebook to use and to write in daily.

As the new school year begins remember to get plenty of rest and come to school every day ready to learn something new and exciting.

In the Classroom

Language Arts

For this year each child will need the following things for class:

-Blue or Black Pen

-Pencil

-Spiral Notebook

-Three ring binder

-SSR book to read

Social Studies

For this year each child will need the following thing for class:

-Pencil

-Three ring binder

-Blue or Black pen

Please have the above things by the end of the week.

Reading Corner

In this corner of my web site I would like to have a space where I can create summaries of books that children found to be a good read. I would like to list books that others would recommend to the class and to me to read. I will start the summaries off at the beginning of the year with the children being able to add their summaries later.
