As an alternative to subscribing to and archiving the thousands of periodicals available, these subscription databases have been purchased for your use.  The intent of these databases is to provide you with access to periodicals that will enhance your self-discovery reading and widen your research options.  Please see the publications list on each database for available titles.  Most periodicals can be read as complete issues for your self-discovery reading.

Access is available from any UHS computer.  For home usage, a password is required. Please see Mrs. Gassman or Mrs. DeSousa for password acquisition.

EBSCO

EBSCOhost is a powerful online reference system accessible via the Internet. It offers a variety of proprietary full text databases and popular databases from leading information providers.

The comprehensive databases range from general reference collections to specially designed, subject-specific databases for public, academic, medical, corporate and school libraries.
