Dear Parents,

A few notes for next week:

   Thanks for all your help with the magazine sales!  Monday is the last return day. 

    The Reading word list is attached.  This week we are working and reviewing the sounds for the letters p, f, k, w.  Please continue to work with the Kindergarten words also.  We are working hard in class.  Practice words and read the little books at home.  Reading books will come home Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Children should spend about ten minutes every night reading or practicing words.

    Math homework will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. We will be working on simple addition.

    Monday we will go to church to pray the rosary at 10:00.  Wednesday we have Mass at 8:30.  Religion homework will be Monday and Wednesday.

    Please visit the school website at www.tiffinstmary.org.  Click on Classrooms.  We will always have information there for you.  Sometimes we have classroom pictures.  If you do not want your child included, you need to sign and return the form that was sent home.  This also means that your child will not be photographed for class news or yearbook as well as pictures on our website.

    Interim reports will be sent on September 18.  We are all working hard now and trying to do our best. 

    ***We have a first grader in 1B with a peanut allergy.  If you send treats, please keep this in mind.  We have talked to the children about this, but sometimes children tend to share with each other without asking, so remind your child of this.
