Masterclass
Students wanting to participate in a Masterclass by Kelly Burke must send an audition tape or CD with the following
requirements:
· 10
minutes of a variety of music that best demonstrates your playing ability. Demonstrating your abilities in
areas of Technique, Style, Musicianship, and Tone. Accompaniment is not mandatory,
but highly recommended.
For example,
but not mandatory, you could perform an unaccompanied solo or etude in its entirety. Then you could perform an
accompanied solo of contrasting style.
Auditions may be on either high quality cassettes or CD's. Please put your name and address somewhere on the cassette or
CD and include a listing in performance order of what is on your audition tape.
Send your finished audition cassette or CD to the following address preferably before, but no later Wednesday, May 3rd
to the following address:

*Please mark on the front of the package - "HAND CANCEL-
RECORDING ENCLOSED" so the recording does not get damaged in shipment.
**You will be notified no later than Thursday, June
1st of the results, so if you are selected to be in a masterclass, you will have sufficient time to put finishing touches
on your piece before camp begins. It is assumed that one of the pieces that you used for your audition will be what you will
perform for your masterclass if chosen. Any questions before you make your audition recording can be directed to
