Welcome back to school!! I look forward to having your child in my 4th grade class. In the 4th grade,
I teach English, Reading and Science. Mrs. Hutchins teaches Spelling, Social Studies and Math. Together, we form
a teaching team that works with you as the parent to give your child a great year!! Here is an overview of our first
week.
August 14-Teacher's return to school. No kids.
August 15-Kids come until 10AM.
August 18-First full day of school. Dismissal at 2:30 (regular schedule)
In my 4th grade class, homework is expected to be completed on time. Ballgames, dance lessons, or shopping trips
are NOT an excuse for late homework. If your child doesn't complete homework on time, points will be deducted, and recesses
will be missed. If your child is ill, ample time will be given to make up missed work when he/she returns to school.

be reached at tembram@shawneelink.net and I do check my email at least twice an evening and each morning by 5:30.
