This is our 5th year under the aupices of the Greenfield Public School District!
Poet Seat is a substantially separate public day school providing educational services
to middle and high school students with emotional disabilities. It is a setting in which students can stabilize and
learn the skills necessary for a successful transition back to a more typical classroom.
The curriculum is aligned to the frameworks. Clinical groups dovetail with
a behavioral level system to provide a safe and predictable structure.
Certified Special Education teachers work with educational teams to design Individual
Educational Plans. Staff is trained in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI). All services provided by the
Greenfield Public School District are available to students at Poet Seat School.
