Integrated Preschool Programs
The integrated preschool programs offer primarily full day and some half day options. The curriculum includes experiences
in physical, social and cognitive development, and is aligned with Massachusetts State standards. Often activities are arranged
around themes, such as colors, seasons, animals, etc. Opportunities for learning occur in individual, small and large group
settings. The schedule is designed to provide a balance of active play/exploration/guided discovery and rest periods, including
arrangements for napping in the full day programs. Parent involvement with the school program is valued and teachers are available
to meet with parents through home visits or at school. Special support services are offered to the program such as Speech,
Occupational and Physical Therapy, educational consultation, social services, and health and nutrition as well as parent
advocacy.
Integrated Preschool Program Times:
Full-day 8:30a .m. to 2:55 p.m.
Half-Day 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 a.m.

Greenfield Public Schools - Head Start Collaborative Preschool
This Better Start Progam offers 1 full day and 1 half day programs. It blends the services of public school
