EDUCATION

Hello!  My name is DeAnna King and I have been a teacher at St. Mary's for 9 years.  The first 7 years I taught first grade, my eighth and ninth years of teaching have been in the computer lab teaching technology.  I graduated from Old Fort High School in 1995 and from Heidelberg College in 1999 with a BA in elementary education, grades 1-8.  In 2004, I received my MA from Marygrove College in Michigan.

 

  My husband, Darin, works for Columbia Gas of Ohio as a major account representative.  In 2006 we had our first child, Addison, who is a year old.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I also like to golf, play volleyball,  and watch my favorite baseball team the Detroit Tigers!  Coaching is something else that I really enjoy.  I have coached volleyball and softball over the past 11 years.  I coached varsity softball for 4 years and asst. varsity for 3 years at Calvert.  Last year I gave it up to spend time with my daughter.  I can't wait to get back into coaching.
