Mediation
Student mediators in the fourth grade play a very important role at Four Corners School. They are trained each summer, meet
regularly during the school year, and assist their peers to mediate confrontations. Mediators are on duty at breakfasts,
lunches, and recesses and perform at all-school assemblies. They also serve as greeters at all school events.

Buddy Program
Our Buddy Program encourages 3rd and 4th graders to serve as positive role models to younger students. Each upper grade class
"buddies" with a primary class throughout the year as they work together on projects, games and other learning activities
which integrate both grade level standards.

All School Meetings
All School Meetings are held monthly and led by the students. In addition to recognizing students for responsible behaviors,
children from all grades use the Responsive Classroom Meeting Model to perform skits, sing songs, share classroom projects,
and tell stories. A memorable time is enjoyed by all so be sure to bring the camcorder and camera to the next one:
