Welcome to my class!

Welcome to 7th grade reading at NBMS.  This year I hope I will be able to teach you that reading CAN be fun.  Sometimes reading can be frustrating, but anything worth something takes a little work sometimes.  My goal this year is to make YOU believe in yourself as a reader.  You CAN do it!

About Me...
Hi, I'm Christy McCarter.  I have been teaching for 8 years.  I began teaching 7th grade reading at New Boston 4 years ago. 
I am married to Andy McCarter, and together we have a pretty large family!!!  There is Magan (19 years old), Paige (16 years old), Sara (10 years old), Jacey (10 years old), and Adam (19 months).  We have a great time together.  We enjoy going to all types of athletic events and band activities throughout the year.  GO LIONS!!!
