Greetings! I am Cathy McDonald. I teach Language Arts for grades 8-12 at Lovejoy Technology Academy. I am the advisor
for the Class of 2010 and Lovejoy TREND.
I graduated from Columbus State University (formerly Columbus College) with a Bachelor of Science degree.
I received a Masters of Education in Secondary English from the same school.
I have lived in Georgia, Oklahoma, California, Montana, Kansas, Idaho, and Illinois. I am married and have
two sons. One is married and is in the Army. The other, a student at SIU-E, also serves in the Illinois National
Guard.
