This page lists all of the honor bands UHS participated in and which students were selected to go. 

The typical honor band is compiled from students from different schools that are recommended by the band director to a selection committee.  Once selected the students get together for one or two days and practice four or five songs and then perform them at the end of the festival. 

Honor Band is a great opportunity for advanced players to get a chance to play harder music and play in a section that they might not be the best player.  Honor band is a great and fun experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
