As 2008 comes to an end, I would like to express how proud I am of all my students and their
accomplishments. We have learned a lot and will continue to strive for the best in 2009!
Over break, I would like to encourage my students to continue reading on a daily basis. Remember
the strategies we've learned and apply them to a book of your choice. As always, find creative and meaningful ways to
show what you know about math concepts. Math is all around you! Feel free to visit sites on my page.
When we return, we will be in "full swing" for upcoming concepts in all subjects. We will be
working on "older" concepts, then building onto the "newer" concepts. Please encourage your child to share what they
learn in class.
