Figure It Out

How many U.S. presidents were under the age of 40 when they started their terms?  Follow these directions to find out.

1.  Take the number of senators in the U.S. Senate and subtract the number of stars on the American flag.

2.  Take that number and divide it by the number of letters in the last name of our first president.

3.  Add the number of letters of the largest state.

4.  Subtract the number of letters of the smallest state.

5.  You should end up with the number of U.S. presidents that were under the age of 40 when they started their terms.

Marissa's FIRST Model UN Trip Was A Success!

On November 6th and 7th twenty-eight members of Marissa's Model UN program attended McKendree University for the fall highschool Model UN conferences.  The fall conferences are considered more of a practice session because there are no awards, etc., however, the delegates learned a lot and are looking forward to their spring conferences at McKendree University in April.
