Computer Keyboarding is an important part of your child's education. Today's world is becoming more and more computer oriented.
Learning to type correctly will benefit your child's future.
Class Expections
Students will keep their eyes on the monitor and not look at their fingers while typing. This is called the touch method
and is 25% of their grade.
Students will use the correct fingers on the keyboard, this is part of the touch method and
effects typing speed. This is 25% of their grade.
Students will participate in all activities using good behavior that
does not infringe on the learning of others in the classroom. Students will complete assigned lessons each week. This is 25%
of their grade.
Finishing projects, bringing paper, pen or pencil, and planner to class is 25% of their grade.

Only bottled watter is allowed in the classroom. We have new computers in our computer keyboarding lab. We are very proud
of our computers and want to take very good care of them. All other food and drinks will be discarded when a student enters
the classroom.
Regarding Homework
It will be very rare that a student from my class will have homework of any type. Students work on typing and projects while
in class.
