Our district standards and benchmarks have been articulated PK-12. They may be viewed by clicking on the web link at the

We offer a core curriculum that includes the following:
Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Health. Our music
program includes vocal, recorder, orf and instrumental instruction. Art and Physical Education are also offered along
with Character Edcuation and guidance.
PROGRAMS THAT ENHANCE OUR READING CURRICULUM
Our reading program is supported by the use of the Accelerated Reading program in grades 1-6.
Students are placed in appropriate reading ranges through the use of the STAR program.
Early literacy is monitored through the DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) program.
Early interventions for at risk students are implemented.
Title I reading is available for reading interventions
