Welcome to 8th Grade!

We have already begun with a very exciting year.  The eighth grade is working very hard in preparation for high school.  Our school year is flying by.  We have already had our Graduation pictures and the Eighth Grade Day of Recollection.  We are also half way through our ITBS testing.

The eighth grade students are working hard.  In Religion class we are studying about Church history and learning how to pray using both the traditional prayers, and just sitting and talking and listening to the Lord.
We have been working on various types of punctuation and capitalization, as well as continuing to work on writing skills in English class.
In reading class we just concluded our poetry unit in which the students composed several free verse poems.  These poems will be made into a beautiful poetry portfolio for each student to keep.
I am very proud of the effort the students are putting forth.

If you are available at noon on Tuesdays, please join us for Rosary in the church.  It is a wonderful, peaceful time to sit with the Lord and give thanks for all we have been blessed with.
