Hello Parents,
Welcome to your child's language arts and reading class website. This website can be used to find
out what your child is working on, and learning about, in language arts and reading. I will have our units of study
and other important information posted on this site throughout the school year.
There are many things you as a parent can do to help your child succeed in language arts and reading. One
of the most important things you can do as a parent is to stay involved in your childs learning. Ask them what they
are working on in class and show interest in their progress. This will help them to realize the importance of education
in their lives. It also helps to encourage them to read by reading to them, or having books and other print
available for them to read in the home.
Sincerely,
Tony Dinolfo
Announcements
It is almost time again for ISAT testing, and we have been preparing this year with the Ladders to Success:
ISAT reading practice workbooks. Your child can also help improve his or her test score through reading at home.
Take the time to read with your son or daughter, and encourage them to read independently.
