KPBSD Training Past and Present 2003-04

1. I can visit you at your school and offer training in area needed for k-12 science curriculum implentation. 
I am doing the out reach training  due to all Sept.and Oct. Curriclum training below has now been completed. Check out the number of teachers trained.
 
What I need from you are your  curriculum needs in science.  Please email content areas you would like more rescources in and I can schedule a time to be at your school.  Thanks..!

These trainings included teachers release... one full day of instruction on curriculum work in content subject, textbook resources and computer lab activites. Training ran from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and lunch was  provided on site.
 
4.OCT 23rd 2003  Training Now Completed!
  Environmental Education Resource Inservice
10 Secondary Biology/Physical Science Trained along with 3 community members. Teachers from Nikiski High, Seward High, SOHI, Kenai High, Skyview High, Ninikchik,and Voz attended the inservice. 
 
A one day inservice and subs were provided via a local community grant by Caring For The Kenai (CFK).It was a Great chance to network with other KPBSD Sci Teachers and get new resources including demo's of probe-ware for palms and PC's. Particants reviewed the CFK contest process and resources available along with web sites.

We also had lunch at ARBY'S complements of Soldotna ARBY'S.  Thanks so much!
After lunch we went to the Challenger Center, had a tour, and worked with the new technology lab with environmental education resources.
